Chapter 10 Precipice

Selene's pov
My senses returned with a bang. What the hell was I doing here? My lips were interlocked in a passionate embrace with the guy who was supposed to be my new family. I withdrew my lips from him, and to my uttermost disgust, I felt myself hesitate.
“Stop,” I muttered. He withdrew away away hesitantly too and stared at me with those golden eyes. I turned away as the blood flew up to my face and I blushed madly. This guy was going to think I'm some naive countryside girl.
