Chapter 19 Episode 19

• Astrid stood at the entrance of Axelrod's room, but as the minutes ticked by, she knew she couldn't just stood there. The darkness enveloped her, and the silence was overwhelming. Taking a deep breath, she gathered her courage, pushed the door open, and stepped inside.
• As soon as she entered, Astrid's eyes widened in surprise. Axelrod was facing away from her, his broad back exposed. He was only in his boxers, and her heart raced at the sight.
• His muscles flexed as he moved, and she noticed a sword resting on the table in front of him. He seemed to be cleaning it, but he paused when he sensed her presence, his nostrils flaring slightly.
