Chapter 17

• Jessica and Rose had left for the only bus station in their town. They sat under the shade as they patiently waited for Travis's return, it had been an hour since they got here and there was no sign of Travis.
• "Mother, is father still going to arrive home today?" Rose asked tiredly. "Don't worry, your father will be coming home today because he made mention of that in the letter he wrote to us. Your father would be here to witness the arrival of your kid sister," Jessica ensured caressing her daughter's shoulder.
• Soon, there was a bus sound making them sprang up from where they had been sitting. "Mother, that must be, father," Rose muttered happily.
