• I super speed out of the kitchen straight up the staircase towards the bedroom and stop by the window, glancing at the figures of my parents returning back to their vehicle with a sort of strange, confusing aura all around them. I can tell that my mom is not happy about it and she's having a mind filled with regrets, but I can see the extreme disdain and the extreme anger in my father's eyes. It is as if I have already known he has never ever cared about me— never about my well-being or even thought about what I want.
