Chapter 41 Vacation

Talks about Anna and Tony’s marriage were still creating buzz around the city; some made-up stories and some added and subtracted from the truth. Watching the television, she rolled her eyes at what one gossip monger had to say as she packed a suitcase and got prepared for a very anticipated mini vacation.
She had called up Stella earlier, informing her of her impending escapade and also promising that as soon as she got back, she would help her with some wedding planning. Anna knew that without those reassuring words, Sally would probably be sour about the whole thing, but hearing about her wedding really got her interested.
"Hey, ready to go?" Tony asked, appearing at the door, smiling.
