Chapter 23 Last Act For The Camera

• The day came when Anna would put on her last act. Tony still did not mutter a word of apology to her or explain his actions yet he somehow expected her to play along with his façade.
• Stella entered while Anna was in her room, highly strung on her thoughts. Stella had been a beam of light over the past few days, excited to plan her wedding she couldn't stop bragging about. Of course, Anna was happy for her friend- it was the best news she'd heard since Tony’s reentry into her life.
• "Hey, Ann, what's up?" Stella asked, taking a seat beside her on the bed.
