Chapter 67

• Adrianna arrived about half an hour ago, but her eyes still doubted Chloe's concentration in front of her. Whatever Adrianna said, Chloe responded differently, as if she wasn't there. She was busy with her thoughts, which Adrianna herself didn't know. So Adrianna let Chloe enjoy her solitude.
• This house reminded Adrianna of their college days. Adrianna often stayed at this house, working on assignments with Chloe. Sometimes they would sneak out of the room at night to enjoy the night at one of the clubs, but it never lasted more than five minutes before they returned home. Adrianna said they both needed to be suited to keep up with the activities of their peers on campus.
