• "Well, I knew you were tough," Vexon muttered, and I narrowed my eyes. He sighed before holding his ear with his hands, and looked at me, his eyes softening at the sight of me. "I am sorry, Gem. I had to go to the USA for work, and I returned last night. I am sorry for not contacting you for the last two weeks. But I swear, there was not a single moment I didn't miss you."
