Chapter 12 Because I'm Your Husband

• Back in her room, Blair was filled with a growing sense of dread. Zachary’s unpredictable and moody behavior convinced her to maintain some distance from him. Grabbing her bag, she left to meet Mr. Blanc as planned.
• Zachary found the documents on the table upon his return to the bedroom which included a supply contract for the Piersons. He was puzzled by it but quickly pieced together the situation, wondering if Blair had used her charm to secure the contract. Expression darkening, he headed downstairs.
• Blair arrived at the coffee shop for her meeting and spotted a man in a white suit by the window. He exuded elegance and sophistication, his gold-rimmed glasses adding a scholarly touch.
