• “What?! You and my father are seriously getting married tomorrow?!”. Kelly exclaimed, and when Debbie excitedly nodded at her, she stiffened, before she let out a really excited scream. “That's awesome, Mom. This is great news. No wonder you are so happy”.
• “Yeah, Kelly. I'm finally getting married to the love of my life tomorrow”. Debbie nodded and said. Tears escaped from her eyes as she thought about how she and Alan would have gotten married years ago, if only that wicked and evil Mr Brooks had never crossed paths with her.
• Seeing the tears that escaped from Debbie's eyes, Kelly stopped smiling. She caressed Debbie's face and wiped the tears away from it, before asking, “What is it, mom? Why are you suddenly crying?”.
