Samantha's POV
I didn't know why Sally decided not to say the truth and take the whole blame when Jaylen asked. I had my own reason for not defending myself. I don't want people to say things they don't know about me. So I had my own reason justified. She should have told Jaylen the truth that she's not the one who ordered me to be whipped. Jaylen is a good man and I don't think he deserves what the moon goddess gave him as a mate. Despite all odds, she didn't need to do what she did. She's his mate after all. I think a Luna should be considerate and not mean. Even if she's not happy with my past relationship with her mate, she should only face me and not add poor old Sally to it. She did her no wrong.
I know with Jaylen's look, he was totally disappointed at me with what I was being accused of. I wasn't sad about it because it will help him get over me. I don't want him to hate me but if he hates me it will help the situation at hand, I don't mind. He needs to forget about me since he has a mate and a pack to focus on.
