• Felicity stayed with me that night. My parents went home and would return early in the morning to replace him. All through the night, he was not talking. He was busy working on his laptop while sitting on the chair, not that far from the bed where he lay down.
• It was too obvious how awkward it was for us both to be around each other. I wanted to start a conversation by asking how his work was, but I couldn't. When I needed to use the restroom, I slowly went down the bed, and in a snap, he was already next to me, helping me to stand.
