Chapter 32

• AMELIA’s POV
• I was awoken by laughter noises, I slowly opened my eyes, as they tried to adjust to the lighting of the room. I was laying on the sofa, but I had slept off at the seat. Charles must have brought me here. On the walls, small pretty lamps made of ice were hung on it and they reflected warm blue lights. Those were not there earlier, they must have been hung after I had gone to sleep.
• Cassio and Scymodus sat on the floor, with their backs facing me while they laughed at something Cassio said. Charles was not in the room, I wondered if he had left for some other room. I sat there in silence for a few minutes, watching them without their knowledge.
