Chapter 153 — Your One True Mate

• I wake to find that I'm in a hospital, being attended by a very nice doctor. At first, I think I am dreaming, but after the doctor recounts how I was driven here by a group of men, who I shortly discover are Ronan Bane, Killan Hale, Cain Winchester, and Draven Thorn, I know it is not a dream.
• I am not just still in Ashridge Hollow; I am in the clutches of my enemies. I turn from the doctor and gaze blindly at the wall where I feel more heat streaming from. Figuring it is a window, I try to focus on the vibrations outside the building. There is not enough sound to generate color or shadow through the glass, but I can hear some yelling in a way that tells me someone, or a group of people, are well and truly pissed.
