• “Look, I’m sorry but I didn’t mean to do that. I have been really worried about coming here today because I don’t know much about the company. I needed some kind of distraction and there you were…. I mean…. You understand what I mean… I don’t mean that I just used you as a distraction…. I just mean that…. I don’t even know. I’m rambling I know. I tend to keep on rambling when I’m nervous till someone stops me….and I feel like I’m saying the word ‘mean’ a lot”
• “Okay okay. Stop please” Dimitri said, and watched as she breathed deeply and buried her face in her hands. There was a brief silence while he studied her beneath distractingly think dark lashes, “I’m sorry too” he said finally, “I’m sorry I didn’t ask. I guess we both just got caught up in the moment. That night with you…. It was beautiful….” He paused, and then added, “And I would gladly be there for you if you need me to distract you anytime”
