• “I’m sure you were,” Dimitri said to her before he turned back to Raymond. “I’m sorry, but there is nothing you can say that will make me change my mind about this. The plan is already in motion. I’m going to get that loan from the bank and buy the company. Majority of the shareholders agree with me. Darcy Enterprises is going down and that’s something you are going to have to come to terms with for you own good and for your own peace of mind”
• Raymond Darcy’s hands balled into fists and his voice became dangerously quiet. “Fine” he said thickly, his lips drawn in tightly, then he gave a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, “Go ahead, Dimitri, but watch your back. I swear, I’m going to tear you apart”
