Chapter 135 Missing Her

  • "Just tell us where your sister went, darling," Mrs. Martinez's frustration was evident. She felt a mixture of emotions, but her worry was the strongest.
  • "Mommy, I already told you everything. I've been repeating myself since earlier. She said she's going out because maybe she's bored here? She said she'll just take a short walk and doesn't want anyone to come with her, so I let her. But I told her she can only stay outside for two hours and she should come back after that," Angel said while sitting on the sofa, looking down. Her parents surrounded her, bombarding her with questions about Chelsea's sudden disappearance without even saying goodbye.
  • "Child, why did you let her go? You know she can't go out because of Red. What if she gets kidnapped? What if she's just waiting for the opportunity to take Chelsea?" Her mother asked another question. Angel just pulled her hair in frustration. "That's why I always remind you to watch over your sister carefully. I never thought you would also let her go out alone. She can go out or leave the house as long as she has a bodyguard or you're with her. Why did we even hire many people to guard you?" Mrs. Martinez spoke calmly, but her disappointment was apparent because of what her child did.
