- Before I could even comprehend what he had just said about Camila, Lorenzo's voice reverberated throughout the room, ordering that I undress. “Lorenzo, no, please.” Despite having been doing that for the past few minutes, I begged in terror, but to no avail.
- “You’re such a mood killer. We're going to have to change that,” he said, straddling my legs with his. “Tomorrow night is the night they get to pay for their crimes committed against my family. I'm going to look Murray De La Cruz in the eye as he begs for his precious grandchildren's pathetic lives, and then I'm going to kill them slowly right in front of his eyes." He paused, shook his head, and let out a humorless chuckle.
