- "I'm sorry," he said, turning to face me and pushing back from the window. “I didn’t mean to be rude. "I'm not in my head right now," he explained, sitting on the bed and holding his face in his hands.
- “It’s okay,” I responded, walking back to him. “May I?” I asked, gesturing to the bed, and he nodded, so I sat beside him. "She told me what he did, so I understand why you are angry."
