Chapter 6 Destination

  • MADDOX JAMES
  • "What the hell is wrong with you, Maddox?" Charlie whispered harshly and that only made me grip his neck tighter.
  • "Go along with it, we don't want him to see us," I whispered back to the disgusted man in front of me.
  • "I am not gay but I would like to try to kiss you." stated the devious Charlie and winked right after his statement. It was my turn to cringe at his fake, flirty eyes.
  • I was sure that the girl next to us was cringing at the sight of two guys playing tonsil hockey with each other on a plane but it was the only choice so Tyler couldn't see us and cancel our trip.
  • The waitress coughed awkwardly behind me and I waved her off from behind as I pretended to make out with Charlie, that fucker looked amused and wanted to laugh at my annoyance.
  • "No PDA on the plane, please. I got another complaint from an old lady." She said and my instincts told me that Tyler was gone. I released a sigh of relief and turned my face to her.
  • "Hey sexy, no need to be jealous. You and the old lady can join us." I flirted with a sexual smirk causing the poor girl blush her brains out. I could see behind her caramel irises that she wanted to be rebellious and I was all for it.
  • "H-Hey, that's disrespectful, I-I don't want to warn you anymore." She stuttered and walked away.
  • My eyes met the old woman's scalding glare and winked at her too, she turned her face away to look at the window and then my eyes looked at the little baby holding his tongue out at me on a woman's lap beside the old lady and I pulled my tongue out too before realizing my childish behaviour causing me to turn around to Charlie's narcissistic smile.
  • "Maddox, you're growing soft on me. You're like a giant baby." He mocked as his hands went apart to indicate my size and I punched his shoulder.
  • The plane was filled with nasty diapers' smell during the flight and I had to punch Charlie to get him off of my shoulder. The sounds of gurgling and grandmothers changing their teeth irked me even more. Even the waitresses were flustered by me as they passed like they were Super Sonic Spinners.
  • Think about the attractive blonde babes with swimsuits dancing around you... I relaxed into my seat and a dreamy smile on my face at my fantasy.
  • My fun ended when I was slapped by a magazine and I opened my eyes while my fists were ready to punch someone out cold. My deep greyish-blue eyes glared at the hyper man and he pointed to the announcement with a smirk.
  • The plane landed with a thud as it sped off to stop and I was fucking relieved. I promised myself to never go on a plane ever again. That shit was a brain-blower and I was the one who got blown.
  • I pulled the hoodie above my head to cover my face and Charlie did the same. The people rushed out of the plane and I waited in the line impatiently until a hand stopped on my shoulder.
  • "Maddox, we meet again." The cold tone of the sexist bastard, otherwise named as Tyler, was heard.
  • I didn't wait as my adrenaline went up higher and Charlie turned around to see the scene that I would cause. My punch landed directly on his eyes and he groaned as he covered his eye, blood oozing down his face.
  • Luckily, he was the last person to board off from the plane so nobody saw the action. I pretended to crouch down to help him, at least that was what people would think.
  • "Someone call the medics," I hollered at the people in front of me and Charlie pretended to be concerned when his smirk widened, he tried to compose himself when the waitress rushed between the lines of people. She crouched down and I bit my lip when her bust showed.
  • "I knew you would help him, you're such a good girl," I whispered into her ear as she gave me a tiny glare with a bright red blush on her cheeks.
  • Charlie stopped my fun once again and I rolled my eyes at him before going down the stairs. I couldn't care less about Tyler but I knew he would not stop tracking me later on since he found out that I would be in California.
  • The weather was cool and the people happily scattered to meet their family while Charlie and I just walked to get our private car that was registered by Charlie.
  • "Hello California, my baby," Charlie shouted out of the window and many people gave him the crazy look. I finally closed the trunk of the sleek, navy BMW and sat on the passenger's side.
  • "I am tired, don't you dare tell me we are going to a nightclub." I snapped when I met Charlie's suggestive eyes.
  • "Whatever, a few clouds of smoke and lap dances wouldn't hurt nobody," Charlie commented.
  • "Not today, buddy," I commented back and I could hear the huff Charlie gave me but I ignored the playful man as he sped off.
  • The car halted and my eyes opened after an hour drive. The headache was getting worse and I couldn't wait to get some sleep at the hotel. I gazed at the luxurious La Maison Hotel and raised an eyebrow at Charlie.
  • "So much for keeping a low profile, huh?" I quipped and he smirked at me.
  • "I am a big boy. Big boys need big hotels and besides, there are so many seductive chicks here for you. You're welcome." He said as we both went out of the car to the hotel.
  • Our eyes met the waitresses in tight skirts and we both walked up to them with the same darkened eyes.
