Chapter 69

• "How can....how can that be? I need to see him myself." She raised her gown up about to rush in when Kieran suddenly pulled her backwards with her arm and dragged her to himself, hugging her tightly. Her chest heaved up and down against his solid chest. He could feel her anger, could feel her confusion, her hate and everything in between. He got her unspoken points too and that made him angry. He heard the angered howl of her champion wolf and that made him let out a growl too in anger. He understood every inch of her, only if she knew that and he knew, how mad she was right now.
• Her sobs wet his shirt, warming his skin and his big arms tightened around her more as she kept on crying.
