Chapter 26 Can I Bend You

• Andy strolls to the kitchen, his whiff being the first thing to announce his arrival. I don't turn to meet him because I am bygaged in arranging the cups on the tray for breakfast. He encircles his arms around my stomach from my behind, giving me a peck on the neck.
• This has been blathering on for weeks now, and I am fascinated by what we have. He has been passionate but respectful all the same. He has opened up to me a lot, and I suppose this has done him a lot of good.
• This is all that I wished for. For him to be unrestricted with me. For him to entrust his secrets to me. He hasn't asserted a word about him being entirely ready, but I know we are making progress. He is a man of few to no words, but I can point it out from his eyes, and the way he behaves with me of late. I can sense that he is gradually getting out of that cage he was living in for four years now.
