• After that day, Bai Yunjin was hospitalized for another week. Huo Chen would come to visit her both in the morning and at night. In the afternoons, he would instruct Qiao Mu to personally deliver a huge spread of food. At first, this made her feel quite uncomfortable. Yet, she got used to it after a few days. There wasn't really a reason why, but this was certainly much better than the superior attitude he had adopted previously.
