Chapter 44 Within Control
- The next morning, Kevin woke up and rubbed his neck, moving his head around. He didn't seem very comfortable.
- "Why are you shaking your head like that?" I asked, already knowing the answer. I had pushed his head away forcefully the night before.
- "I probably slept too deeply. It's been a while since I had such a refreshing rest." He massaged his neck again as he got out of bed. "You should sleep in."
