• “I’m not provoking you. I’m only telling the truth.” I calmly snarked back, this time in a calm tone, as I shifted my gaze to him again. Raising my brow at him, in a still serious face, “Imprisoning me here won’t make me yours.”
• It appears as if after I said that in a much calmer tone without any smirk or provoking tone, and I am not sure why my expression received more reaction from him than my earlier test on him.
