• It had been two days since we left Las Vegas. I had been trying to cover up any trace of the details that Avery had given the DEA. Lot of money had been lost due to this and to say I was beyond pissed was an understatement. Killing Avery was to send a warning to others who were thinking or planning to betray me in the future. I needed them to know that I wouldn’t show any mercy on them when they turned their back on me. I had been too busy to check on Honey and see how she was handling the death of Avery. It wasn’t like I cared about her or something, but I knew how soft Honey could be despite how hard she tried to appear.
