• I sat at the back of the car, watching through the window as the world blurred away around me. Carlo was sitting at the front seat with his girlfriend and was blasting a loud music which his girlfriend was singing along to while smiling with him. They looked like a perfect peaceful couple, contradicting whatever the hell was happening between me and Lorenzo.
• Lorenzo wanted me to follow him to an event and had told Carlo to take me to a boutique to get a dress adequate for the night event.
