Chapter 8 Hazel

• *EMMA*
• "What in the world is going on?" I asked between my teeth as Jet put his hand on my waist guiding me up to tone staircase which leads to the huge front door of the castle, the door opened on it own and we went inside, I thought the outside was amazing, the the inside beat my imagination, a crystal white glass all around, you could no doubt see your reflection in it, I spot a roll of maids standing either side of us, they all bowed when we walked past, I could feel their curious stare on me.
• Jet stopped walking stepping away from me. "You are to show our guest her room, draw her a bath, have food brought to her room. Do whatever she ask of you, in the mean time I'll talk to madam Katherine about appointing a personal maid for her" It was an order no sooner than he said that, five maids were already beside me, my father happens to be rich yes, but I have never received treatment like this from our servants, so it's technically all new to me.
• "Noted Alpha" They chorus, I watched as Jet walked away disappearing into another door, the maids all fluttered around me as they lead me up the staircase, if I hadn't known better I would have said they were trying to impress me.
• "This is your room milady" One of them said pulling the curtains aside letting the sunshine into the room, I move towards the window stepping out, I love the view immediately! It was like a scene from a movie. A clear view of a not so small waterfall and a lake, I love the way butterflies flutter around the grass around the lake, it was beautiful. The grass look so green and healthy.
• "Wow" I breathed.
• "I know right? Alpha has clearly been reserving this room for you, it's perfect. We cleaned it while he was away, plus if you think this is beautiful, there is a clearer view of it if you look from your balcony" Said one of the maid, I looked at her surprised. Well I didn't expect them to be so comfortable around me since I am not, but this blonde girl doesn't mind, she looked two years younger than I am.
• "Less talking Hazel and more working" Snapped another maid from the bathroom, I could tell they were working on my bath as Jet had instructed.
• "I will go get your lunch" Hazel the blonde girl said.
• "No, stay please" I begged, she looked surprised but please.
• Two of the maids left the room while Hazel stood beside me asking for my permission to take off my clothes which just seems weird. "No, it's fine. You can help me look for something to wear, I'll undress myself" I told her.
• "It's no problem Luna, please let me help" She begged. "I want to be your personal maid, if I help you, you might like me" She begged then she looked around to make sure the rest didn't hear her. "Madam Katherine is very strict, I'm tired of washing the dishes" Her last statement made me laugh, I love her already.
• "Still I insist, help me choose a dress" I argued.
• She rushed towards a walk in closet I didn't realize was there until she fling it open, it was her excitement and energy for me, before I could comment on it, the maids who had drawn my bath came out to announce it was ready, I excuse myself into the bathroom.
• Just like my room, it was fancy and breathe taking, there was a hot tub, a shower stand and a bathroom mirror, where there are different type of soap, creams, hair treatment and some other stuff I'll have Hazel explain to me later.
• It was the nicest bath I ever had in a while and I spent up to an hour in it, I only got up when I realized the water was getting cold, I freshened up, with a pink flora bathrobe secured around me, I left the bathroom to see that Hazel had laid out some outfit options for me.
• "Your has been brought to you, over there please eat up before it get cold" She informed me pointing towards the food, I smiled politely at her before going over to devour the plate of food which looked like a feast.
• "I don't know who put you in charge" One of the maid hissed at Hazel, I pretended not to hear what they were saying.
• "Luna put me in charge" Hazel reported. "And Alice why don't you go back to kitchen duty? I'm sure madam Kate love having you around" She added making me smile.
• A knock sounded on the door, I turn around to look, my foolish mind was hoping it was Jet but turned out to be an elderly woman with a strict face, she seems to be in her fifties, the maids quickly flutter about.
• "You must be Emma" She said walking towards me.
• I stood up. "Of course, it's nice meeting you" Because I have no idea how to address her.
• "Call me Kathrine, I'm the head of the staff" She introduced, oh now I know why they were scared of her, I'm a little scared of her myself. "Alpha has appointed me to choose a personal maid for you, is there anyone you would like to be your maid among those?" She asked me.
• Without doubt I replied. "Hazel, I would love Hazel to be my personal maid"
• "Hazel?" She murmured in disapproval. "She's rather so young and awfully lazy. Ain't you seventeen girl?" She required with a frown.
• Hazel looked at me, she look like she wanted to laugh any seconds from now. "I promise not to be lazy and yes Madam I'm seventeen, I wear I'll be eighteen in eight months times" She defended.
• "Are you sure you want the young lad?" Madam Katherine asked again.
• I fought the urge to roll my eyes at her. "Yes I'm very certain" I replied.
• "Good, the rest of you...out" She yelled and the rest scurried out of the room, she gave Hazel one last disapproving look before closing the door behind her.
• "Yep! She's scary" I agreed going back to my food.
• "I know right? I'm her least favorite, thank you for picking me. I bet you are enjoying you meal?" She asked staring at the dresses she had laid out for me.
• "Yes. It is delicious thank you" I smiled at her.
• "Alpha is soooooooo hot right?" She gushed which caught me by surprise, seeing the surprise look on my face she blushed. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that" Her voice had gone quiet making me feel guilty.
• "Of course not, you have nothing to apologise for, I would be happy if you are honest and free with me, makes my life less miserable" Judging from the bath and food, I don't think it was miserable at all. "By the way what do you know about your Alpha. Why is he call Alpha?" I required.
• She frowned thoughtfully. "I don't know a lot about Alpha, you see Alpha is very secretive but of course he is called Alpha because he is the leader of the pack. I know Alpha would do anything for the Pack, Alpha is very nice and protective but has a short and terrifying temper, I bet Madam Katherine thought him that" She chuckled.
• "Madam Katherine?" I frowned in confusion.
• "Yes, you see she is Alpha's nanny" She stopped talking, I knew she wanted to say something but I didn't push her into telling me.
• "I think you and I are going to have so much fun Luna" She gushed.
• "Why do you call me that? I mean Luna? My name is Emma" I corrected.
• She opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by the knock on the door, my heart leaped in my chest when I saw Jet walked in.
