- Mari falls back asleep some time later. I mourn the loss of her striking eyes, but I understand she needs to rest and I hold her hand until she drifts under. I don't want to leave her, but I know that there are some things I need to wrap up. Nonetheless, I linger at her bedside. Blade shakes his head and grumbles before turning on the television.
