  • Without my bonds I was free to explore the room that I assumed would be the room I would die in. It was nice. I stretched my limbs and rubbed the sore spot on the side of my neck from Julien's needle with a wince. I walked over to the right and saw there was an adjoining room. I turned the gold doorknob and entered a bathroom. A good thing too because I just now realized how badly I had to relieve myself. I was surprised by my accommodations. I figured Julien would shove me in a cage and force me to relive myself in a bucket so the modern plumbing was a godsend. After taking care of my needs, I wash my hands in the sink and stare at myself in the mirror. My long, dark hair that was once styled in an elegant up do is matted and hangs limply around my neck. I pull out all the pins one by one and place them on the sink before finger combing my hair. It's not ideal, but I'm not putting too much stock in my appearance. There are more important things to worry about.
