• Next day Anya enters the hospital and found Elijah at the entrance with a worried face making Anya joke
• "What's with this long face of yours?"
• Elijah informs her with concern
• "You are called for the trial."
• Anya becomes confused
• "What trial?"
• Aaden comes there and tells her
• "Regarding yesterday's incident as you broke the hospital's protocol so the higher authorities want to conduct a trial with you."
• A frown appears on her face but Aaden reassures her
• "Don't worry, I will be there also, you just need to answer them confidently and honestly. If something goes out of hand I have your back."
• She looks at him gratefully
• "Thanks, I will come after putting these things."
• Saying Anya goes from there, Aaden turns and found Elijah smiling at him
• "What are you smiling for?"
• Elijah looks at his friend and says teasingly
• "I have your back and all, hmm. From when you started to get worried for others?"
• Aaden retorts
• "She is not other"
• Elijah's eyes become wide and a devilish grin appears on his face then Aaden realises what he said and immediately rectifies it.
• " I mean to say, she is a trainee under me so obviously it's my responsibility to take care of her."
• Elijah pulls his leg more
• "I'm also your trainee, you never thought of taking me as your responsibility?"
• Aaden questions
• "You went for any trial?"
• Elijah shakes his head in negative then Aaden snaps at him embarrassingly
• "Then shut up and she is really a brilliant trainee, so I want to help her."
• Elijah nods solemnly but his expressions say otherwise
• "I believe you."
• Aaden understands that Elijah was making fun of him
• "You..."
• Elijah cuts him off
• "Aren't you getting late for the trial, go... go..."
• Aaden goes from there making Elijah chuckles.
• Aaden enters the room and was surprised seeing Albert Raichand so while sitting he asked
• "Albert uncle you here? I thought Sebastian would be taking this trial?"
• Albert says helplessly making Aaden nods in yes
• "When did he take part in these trials?"
• Albert throws the ball in Aaden's court with his question
• "And if I correctly remember, you also never took part in any trials, so what changed?"
• Aaden hurriedly explains
• "That trainee is under me so I'm just doing my duty as a senior for her."
• Albert smirks making Aaden nervous
• "I can see that."
• Their conversation was interrupted by a knock and they heard a girl's voice.
• "May I come in sir!"
• Albert says
• "Come in"
• Anya entered the room and found a panel where four men were sitting except Dr. Aaden and the man sitting in the centre has the aura of a ruler making your knees automatically weak but Anya controls herself.
• She greets them politely after Aaden shows her an all the best sign which Albert notices
• "Good morning sir."
• A doctor says with authority to create pressure on her
• "You are late Ms. Arora."
• Which she answers calmly making Albert smile
• "I was informed just now regarding this trial sir."
• Another man questions
• "Do you know what you did wrong?"
• Anya shakes her head in negative
• "No Sir!"
• "You broke hospital's protocols and you think you did nothing wrong"
• Anya counters
• "Correction sir, I broke the hospital's protocols to save a patient, if I wouldn't have done that then that patient would not be alive."
• The same doctor probes
• "You also didn't wait for the police officers to come or tried to inform them first. Why?"
• Anya clarifies.
• "Sir if you clearly read about the case then you would have known that the patient's jugular vein was severely damaged and if we would have waited for the police officers then he would not be alive between us."
• Albert was quietly listening to the whole argument. The girl's calmness and confidence really deserve to be praised.
• He found that she and his son were the same. They share the same arrogance and dominance. Albert found that girl more likeable.
• "Then that hit and run case would have turned into murder case and if the victim was not even alive then whom statement they would take."
• Another doctor asked
• "You are not guilty for your act?"
• Anya shakes her head in no.
• "I'm sorry Sir but I'm not guilty for whatever I did yesterday as while teaching me medicines nobody taught me that hospital protocols are more important than human life. If the same situation arrives next time, I will do the same Sir.
• There was a pin drop silence in the whole room which was broken by Albert who was having a smile in his eyes.
• "You will not be accountable for what you did yesterday but you will be punished for breaking the protocols"
• Listening to Albert's words Aaden got anxious while Anya was still expressionless.
• "I understand sir."
• Albert orders
• "Detailed research report on latest 500 drugs."
• Anya nods with a straight face. Nobody found a single waver in her expressions as 500 drugs are a lot.
• "Ok Sir. Have a good day!"
• Anya wishes everyone and goes out. Albert also gets up and pats on Aaden's shoulder as encouragement.
• "You got a gem as a trainee young man. Don't lose her"
• Albert goes out followed by other people. Aaden says determinedly
• "Absolutely uncle, I won't"
• Saying this he goes out and finds Anya trying to reach a file, he smiles and goes to her.
• "Congratulations you passed the trial!"
• Anya justifies herself
• "I was not wrong."
• Aaden nods in yes and offers
• "Right. Need my help!"
• Anya declines and tries to reach a file
• "In punishment? No, thank you."
• He helps Anya in taking out a file and gives to her and she gives him a grateful smile
• "Anya, 500 drugs? Will you be able to do it?"
• Anya assures him and goes out with a file
• "I will do it in university, I will manage, don't worry. I won't bother you."
• Aaden mumbles as he saw Anya going away
• "You are not a bother."
• In the evening Anya was doing her work when she forgot about the time. After a long time she realised her mistake when she saw her watch.
• "Damn... It's about 9. The garden side gate must be closed now. Idiot, Stupid"
• While cursing herself Anya immediately collects her work and comes out from the library and her phone rings. She wears her headset and the moment she picks the call, Sophia's worried voice comes from the other side.
• "Anya did you see the time, where are you?"
• Anya tells and walks with fast pace.
• "Sorry mother, I lost track of time. The garden side gate is closed. I'm taking the other door. I'll join you both in just 15 mins for dinner."
• Anya just cancelled her call when a ball came to her making her startled and she lost her balance but a strong arm held her waist and pulled her closer and she immediately inhaled a musk fragrance.
• Anya puts her both hands on that person's chest to create some distance then looks up and meets with a pair of blue-green eyes but this time those eyes were without any ridiculing or mocking.
• They were looking so pure that she couldn't help but become fascinated and she thinks
• "His eyes are so beautiful!"
• On the other hand Sebastian stares in those light brown eyes which were clear but still unclear like there was a veil which was protecting the emotions in those eyes and stopping him from seeing through her and that lavender scent was affecting him.
• Both were lost in each other's eyes and we're trying to read the other when their trance was broken by Ayaan's voice
• "Are you okay?"
• Sebastian leaves her and she stands properly then looks down and says to don't know whom
• "I'm fine, thank you."
• Sebastian was standing perplexed and for the first time he was lost in someone's eyes. Anya passes from Sebastian's when Ayaan blocks her way making Anya snap at him
• "What?"
• Ayaan says in a wronged tone
• "Why are you so rude to your saviour?"
• Anya retorts
• "Did I call you to save me, no right?"
• Ayaan shakes his head in no then Anya says indifferently while Sebastian witnesses their interaction
• "Moreover I treated you and you saved me. We are even."
• Anya started to go when Ayaan speaks
• "Why does she always speak like she has eaten chillies?"
• Anya hears his words and turns to glare at him who runs away then her gaze again crashes with blue-green eyes who was looking at her fixedly.
• Anya immediately withdraws her eyes and continue to walk while mumbling
• "What are you doing Anya? He is Raichand? You need to stay away from him and his type of people."
• Saying this she calmed her heart which was beating frantically.
• Soon the night passed while she was doing her assigned work which was still far from completion.
• Next day Sebastian was standing at his balcony and enjoying his black coffee when he saw Anya coming out hurriedly from the building of the girl's dormitory while wearing a white coat and looking at her watch from time to time while mumbling something. Sebastian looks at her till she completely disappears from his eyes and he mumbles
• "Anya Arora!"
