Chapter 5

• Anya enters her room when she sees Rose was sitting in a state of shock while Sophia was shaking her head helplessly.
• "What happened to her? Why is she acting as if she saw the 8th wonder of the world? Your and her class schedule"
• She gives pages to Sophia and Rose respectively who puts down the page with shock and Anya continues to do her work as places her schedule on the table.
• "Thanks, she is like this because she came to know about the history of Raichands"
• Anya froze when she heard the word Raichands, some flashes comes in her mind of a woman watering the plants, playing the piano and was lying on her deathbed, she closes her fist and eyes to calm her emotions and whisper yells
• "Raichands?"
• Sophia who didn't notice her friends emotional changes speaks
• "Well, Raichands are the King or Ruler of the pyramid. In the pyramid of riches and influential families, they are at the top and below them are Mathews, Aurthers and Khanas. In the pyramid there are three kinds of families, one who are Raichands friends, which are only Mathews, Aurthers and Khanas then comes the families which are Raichands supporters and the last which are Raichands enemies. You see the whole circle revolves around them. And in every business they have their fair share. They are in restaurants, construction, armour and weapons, entertainment industry etc."
• Anya turns to Sophia and asks
• "From which category does your family belong?"
• Sophia tells about her family making Anya nod
• "Well, we are the supporters. It's the rule of survival, if you can't beat the strongest then become their supporter."
• Rose speaks after she comes out from the shock.
• "My father works in one of Raichands companies but I didn't know that they are so powerful."
• Sophia corrects her
• "Not just powerful darlings, they are Mighty. What do you think of Anya?"
• Listening to Sophia's question Anya just shrugged off her shoulders
• "My father is a small businessman while my mother is a teacher. We are just higher middle class people. So these high and mighty families are not my concern. And I also learnt that people who are out of your league don't touch them."
• Anya repeats the same words that someone spoke to her but that time she was naive, a girl who lives in fantasies, her trance was broken with Sophia's voice.
• "You are right!"
• Anya goes to her study table and start to place it in the balcony making her friends puzzled so Rose asked
• "What are you doing?"
• Anya picks up the chair and explains them
• "I had an online tutoring session at 12am. So I'm moving it to the balcony so that you both can sleep peacefully without any disturbance."
• Sophia looks at her and gives her a thumbs up while Rose gives her an okay sign making Anya smile.
• It takes four days for Anya to set her routine, in the morning she goes to hospital then after coming back she takes her evening classes and after spending 2 to 3 hours in the library she does her online tutoring. She involved herself in such a tiring routine so she doesn't think about her past but her past is like an insect who is sticking to her and sucking her blood. Whenever she decides that she would not think about him, their memories comes to her in the dreams which was more like a nightmare because it makes her feel how weak, vulnerable and stupid she was!
• After some days Anya, Rose and Sophia were going to cafeteria when they saw there was a crowd of students which makes Rose curious
• "What is happening there?"
• Sophia and Anya both were confused then the trio went towards the crowd and the incident made Rose gasp in shock as two girls were standing in the middle and three girls took a bucket of black paint and threw it on them and added a white powder on them.
• "Why are those girls bullying them?"
• Sophia sighs
• "It's a story every year, every year many girls write letters to Sebastian or proposes him. The girls who didn't get caught are lucky one and those who got caught, this is their result. They are insulted in front of the whole university."
• Rose gets angry and argues back
• "But this is so wrong and liking someone is not a crime."
• Sophia explains while Anya looks at Siya who was smirking, the man named Sebastian was having a gentle smile on his face with a cold face and Ayaan was playing on his mobile nonchalantly. Anya looks at Ayaan for a while
• "According to Siya, you can like anyone except Sebastian Raichand because only Siya can like him and that's fine too as Sebastian never stopped her in fact there were many complaints against Siya but not a single action is done because Sebastian is protecting her."
• Rose says righteously and goes forward
• "But someone needs to stop it, we should try to talk to them. Bullying is a crime!"
• But Anya holds her wrist and pulls her back
• "Reigned your righteous self Rose, didn't you hear what Sophia said not a single action is took against her. Do you think you are capable enough to stop them from doing what they are doing all this time?"
• Sophia looks at those girls sympathetically
• "I really don't understand that everyone knows that Sebastian belongs to Siya then why do they even try and face such humiliation?"
• Anya looks at all this with a blank face and speaks in an emotionless voice.
• "It's human nature, the more you can't get anything, the more it intrigued you and Sebastian Raichand is a great catch. If you can get a chance to be noticed by him by keeping your self-respect on stake. That's not a bad deal!"
• Rose heard all this and light flashes in her eyes. Her expressions were not unnoticed by Anya making her frown.
• "Let's go, I guess it's enough for today."
• Anya was about to turn to go when her light brown gaze collides with a pair of blue-green eyes, Anya stare in that eyes and a mocking and ridiculing smile appears on her face which removes the gentle smile from Sebastian face as if she can see his soul and know what he was thinking?
• Siya turns her face and looks at Sebastian but she found him staring intently in a specific direction and when she saw in that direction she found a girl's back with blonde hairs making her angry.
