Chapter 2 A New Beginning

• Yun Che faded in and out of consciousness as he tried to put his thoughts together.
• What's happening? Am I still alive? It's impossible to survive the fall from Lourtry Cliff. Why am I feeling fine? I don't experience any pain at all...
• His eyes flew open, and he sat bolt upright, staring around the room. He was sitting on a large bed with a festive-looking red fitted sheet.

He went out looking for Master Situ," Xiao Lingxi said gleefully. She was so excited that she did not notice the man's odd demeanor. She hastily exited the room after assisting him to lie down on the bed to rest.
• Xiao Che sat back up on the bed and put his hands about his head after Lingxi left the room.

• The man was in confusion as he tried to piece his memories together. He realized he could recall his time as Yun Che and Xiao Che.
