Chapter 12 The Red-haired Girl

• Xiao Che approached the fuzzy white figure without hesitation. An ordinary person would have fled upon seeing such an unusual occurrence. As he got closer, he realized that it was a person lying on the ground motionless. "Who are you?" Xiao Che asked from a distance. There was no response.

Her delicate legs were covered in bruises and she only had a single black shoe on. The other was nowhere to be seen. The thing that stood out the most was her hair. It was a vibrant red color.
• Why is a young girl here? She's covered in bruises. What's up with the color of her hair? Are there redheads here at Heavenly Arcana Land?
• Xiao Che crouched and gently shook the young girl's shoulder. "Little girl, are you…" He was unable to finish his words. He retracted his hand swiftly as he felt the coldness of her skin through her thin clothing. There was no trace of life. Apart from that, he felt a deadly poison lingering around when he made contact.

• The girl had shut her eyes as she sucked on his fingers greedily. Xiao Che was unable to break free after multiple attempts. He could only watch as the girl sucked his blood. He began to feel dizzy from the rapid loss of blood. As he was worried about his blood being sucked dry, the suction force on his finger gradually faded. The grip on his wrist began relaxing as well.
• Xiao Che quickly backed off. The girl became motionless as before. A gust of cold wind blew by and the girl disappeared. All that was left was her tattered white skirt, a black shoe, and a red butterfly-shaped hairpin.
• Xiao Che felt something strange coming from his palm. He closed his eyes and transferred his consciousness into the Sky Poison Pearl. Upon entering the Sky Poison Pearl, he was met with a snow-white figure floating before him. He swiftly pinched his nose.
