Chapter 51

• It's been a week since his arrest of Maxwell and I haven't gone to see him for once. I drowned myself with work while investigating on the case. I was hoping to get a proof or a clue that shows that Maxwell didn't do anything but it was all to no avail.
• I signed as I walk to get a file from Maxwell's office, and I could just feel his presence here, as old memories flashback in my head. I don't know how long I was going to keep pretending like all of this doesn't affect me. I was slowly losing myself and I knew it. I grabbed the copy of the file I needed, and walked back to my office, to find the door slightly open which was strange. I recalled I shut the door tightly and I didn't hear anyone go in.
