• Olivia’s POV
• It’s a short walk back to the palace after spending the remained of the night at Reese’s side. They managed to give him the blood needed to make him stable, but Eugene told me not to count on him bouncing back so quickly. I need a shower though, a minute away from the endless photographers who still tried to sneak into the hospital for a juicy photo.
• Walking into the bedroom, I’m surprised to see Gabriel perched on the couch near the fireplace, his hands fiddling anxiously in his lap. He straightens up when I walk inside, shotting to his feet.
