Chapter 47 Forty-six

• Thompson sat at the table with a bottle next to him. After he came back to his house he went straight for the bottle. He was glad to have finally spoken to Jackson without having a break through.
• He envied it also. He didn't have a chance to speak to his father and find out what it was that was wrong with him.
• Maddox stared at his phone, waiting for some sort of call or even a text from Alice. He knows why she wouldn't answer him, but why isn't she? He can only wonder if the woman is officially done with him.
