- Caleb called from the doorway, "some wounded need your help down here."
- "I'll be right there," Sara nodded picking up her sewing, "stay here with them and don't let them leave."
- "Easy, sister-in-law," Marie indicated watching her disappear through the door, when the three of them were alone, she looked at her friends and pointed out, "they won't get out of here, if it's not with me in front of them."
