• I woke up and immediately noticed my redhead was missing from our bed. I looked around the room and could still smell her perfume lingering in the air. I got up, took a quick shower, chose my dark blue suit, and put on my cuff links. While I got dressed, memories of the difficult night flooded back into my mind. That wasn’t how I wanted her to find out about my fears and nightmares.
• I went back to our bedroom, grabbed my phone, and slid it into the inner pocket of my suit jacket along with my wallet. I headed downstairs, determined to grab some coffee to wake myself up completely and find out where my wife was.
