Chapter 2 Meet The Parent

  • SAMARRA POV
  • three years ago
  • "Samarra, Honey! Don't forget to get back before seven; we have dinner with the Buenavista family," Mommy Samantha reminded me as she walked down the grand staircase.
  • At thirty-seven, she still has the beauty and good physique she inherited from my grandmother, who is pure Spanish. My mother was a famous model before marrying my father, Daddy Frost.
  • I also inherited the beautiful and gentle face of my Mommy Samantha, while the temperament and intellect I inherited from my father, Daddy Frost.
  • I just saw as I tidied my long hair, and when I got out of the house, I couldn't help but sigh. When I looked at the sky, I saw today's pleasant weather in Australia. It appears to understand how I'm feeling right now. I'm too young to get married. I knew I'd get to the point where they'd look for a husband for me, but not at this age.
  • "Oh my God, I'm not ready to get married. I'm too young."
  • I bit my lip so hard to prevent the threatening tears from coming out at any moment. I could feel the wetness in my eyes as I walked toward the driveway where Posh was parked. My car is a red Porsche 911 sports car; all my cars have a name, and Posh is my favorite car, especially when participating in a car racing competition.
  • Today, almost all paparazzi and sports journalists are here to watch the Porsche All Champion Australia Motor Racing Festival 2016. They found that I participated this year. I'm just the well-known drag racing queen Ms. Oh, and I have won the competition every year for the past three consecutive years. Almost everyone wanted to know what I looked like. Only my mouth is visible because I wear a black cap and sunglasses to cover my entire face. Furthermore, no one can approach me because of my tightest and most alert bodyguard.
  • As soon as I entered the event, I was immediately greeted by fans and the media. I thank the security guards there, who are very alert. I focused on the race track and tried to forget what Mommy and I had discussed earlier. I know that the time will come when they will look for a husband, but I can't imagine how the day they will introduce me.
  • "My God! I'm just fifteen."
  • I bit my lip to stop the flow of my tears and put both hands on the steering wheel. When I heard a bang, it signaled the start of the competition. I immediately turned on the engine and kept up with the other racers.
  • I was immediately ahead of three others, and there were five more ahead of me, one of whom was my cousin, Luther Kian O 'Harra Adams, who was about my age. I accelerated, even more, passing the run I'd already given by two, and took another step on the gas pedal until I was already ahead of the finish line. I immediately exited my car and walked away from the racetrack. Kian, who had also gotten out of his car, greeted me.
  • "Sam, that's awesome! You're fast," he said.
  • I smirked. "Hmph ... Kian, I'll be home soon; we have a family dinner at home with the Buenavista family." I looked up at Kian to make our eyes meet.
  • He sighed. "Okay, get in," he said breathlessly.
  • He entered the driver's seat simultaneously, and I joined as well. I looked at him, who was also looking at me seriously.
  • "What about my car?" I asked.
  • "Ohh, let my driver drive your car," he insisted.
  • While we were on the trip, our story was straightforward, and I didn't realize I was right in front of our house.
  • "Kian, thanks for the ride ... keep safe," I said before getting off.
  • He nods before quickly spearing his car. I looked at him before going inside.
  • I saw Mommy and the guest sitting in the living room when I walked in.
  • "Hi, Mom," I greeted her as I approached.
  • "Samarra, this is your Uncle Calvin and Aunt Lorraine. They are your Daddy's business partner. You know your Aunt Lorraine, don't you? Remember the one I'm telling you, my best friend?" Mom asked.
  • I nod, remembering that her son is the one I'm about to marry, and I also greet the guests.
  • "Honey, this is Ezekiel, your Aunt Lorraine's eldest son."
  • I looked up in front of me; he looked a bit older than me; I looked at him from head to toe.
  • Oh? If this is my fiancé. He stands about 6'3 tall, his brows are thick and well-groomed, his eyes are hazel brown, his eyelashes are long, his nose is pointed, his lips are red, and his body is gosh! So delicious! He is close to Apollo, the Greek God who landed to give women pleasure.
  • When he noticed my stupor, he sneezed. He smiled and took a step closer to me. As a result, I could see the mischievous smile on his lips.
  • Bend slightly and whisper. "Done eye raping me, Baby?" My feathers rose as he deliberately licked my ear.
  • I stumbled to look at him. "Gosh! What has happened to me?"I saw his smirks again.
  • "Excuse me! What did you say?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows.
  • "I know that look, baby." He licked his lower lips, and he winked at me. "Don't worry, I won't bite you, roar!" he added.
  • I sighed at what he said. "Summer, easy; he just wants to annoy you." I took a deep breath and counted. "One ... two ... three ..."
  • When I had calmed down, Ezekiel and I walked into the dining area together, our seats at the long table facing each other. He kept eating quietly while our parents talked about business until Uncle Calvin saw me.
  • "Samarra, I heard you have a clothing line and a famous car racer?" Uncle Calvin asked.
  • I stopped my food first and wiped my mouth before answering Uncle Calvin.
  • "Yes, Uncle, it's the O'Harra clothing line, but 'Ms. Oh' is the brand name. I have three stores now, and we focus on sleepwear, brassieres, and lingerie, and, of course, I wouldn't be successful without the help of my father, who is my mentor." I looked at my father. I could see his smile now. I'm sure he's proud of me.
  • "Oh, my God! Sis, she's so amazing. She's so good, imagine at her age, she already has her own business. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'Ms. Oh' is known all over the country. Because the designs are unique and beautiful And, of course, she is the daughter of Frost the King of Midas," Aunt Lorraine exclaimed to Mommy as they gazed at me.
  • I get why my father is famous; they called him the King of Midas. They anticipate receiving millions of dollars for each business he manages.
  • "Sis, I'm also good and beautiful, so Samarra inherited from me," Mommy boasted to Aunt Lorraine.
  • Aunt Lorraine and Mommy both burst out laughing. "Of course! Sis," Aunt Lorraine agreed with Mommy.
  • "You inherited it as a result of me, Samantha." Aunt Lorraine laughed.
  • According to Mommy's story, Aunt Lorraine was a real naughty girl. But now that I've met her, I can say she's a great Mommy like my mom.
  • "Why don't you expand your business in the Philippines, Sam?" Aunt Lorraine suggested. I immediately put down my fork.
  • "All right, I'll study the expansion of 'Ms. Oh, Aunt," I politely replied to Aunt Lorraine.
  • " Zeke can help you," said Aunt Lorraine.
  • I returned my gaze to the man staring at me earlier. When he saw that he still dumbfounded me, the corner of his mouth lifted.
  • Oh, gosh! My heart is about to come out with the force of the beating.
  • "Hmm… Yes, Samarra. I'm willing to help you," Ezekiel answered thoughtfully and winked at me.
  • My eyes widened at what he did whenever our eyes hit. Suddenly my chest throbbed. I swallowed and turned my gaze to the others.
  • "Thank you, but I'll think about it," I replied quickly to him and quietly resumed eating.
