• The sun shone brightly on the flower gardens of President Mumphrey's villa. Birds chirped merrily in the trees, their songs punctuated by the distant chatter and laughter of children.
• It was a picture-perfect morning, but for Sarah, it was anything but serene. As she stared at Karl who she had just laid properly in her cot after falling asleep with affections in her eyes, they were almost watery.
