Chapter 97 Happy Now?

• Kyle wasn’t one to come home late. If he had a reason to be late, he would have informed Hana. But it was a few minutes past ten, and he hadn’t called or texted her. She checked her phone but there was nothing. Not wanting to worry his parents, she called KJ who told her he was fine and a bit busy.
• That was the only thing that calmed her. But why didn’t he let her know? She curled in the living room couch, hoping to catch him when he got home. As much as this upset her, she promised herself she wouldn’t be mad at him. Even if she would reprimand him, it wouldn’t be immediately.
• Hana fell asleep on that couch, and when she woke up, it was to a heavy pounding on the front door. She blinked away the sleep, grabbing the phone on the table. 6:05 am. She shot to her feet. What the hell was happening? Looking around revealed she was home alone. Kyle didn’t come back. From the empty call log, he also didn’t call.
