Chapter 36 Tunnel Is My New Home

  • He got up and before I could get a chance to walk upstairs or take a few steps behind to get away from him, he trapped me in between his arms. I looked at him and then at his strong muscular hands. It was uncomfortable to stand this close to him. I forgot to breathe when he bent over me to look me in the eye.
  • "Tucker I need to go," I stated and looked away, I had no idea where I got that strength from, but I knew it was the right thing to do. He had always taken me for granted, it was always his choice to come and talk to me and then leave me whenever he felt like so. Although this had been something I had desired for ages, I was still not okay with him being this close to me, especially when he kicked me out of his car.
  • "You are not leaving until I tell you what I wanted to say earlier." Being stubborn and conceited he was, he was not ready to give up. I looked him in the eye and sighed, why did he ruin everything? He dropped his one hand in his pocket and took out something, it was a chain and a small white stone in it. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. He then proceeded to come closer to me and at this point, I knew he wasn't going to hurt me. He held my hair in his hand and removed them from my shoulders as he locked the necklace around my neck. His cold fingers lightly brushed against my neck unintentionally, but I liked it. My mind had stopped working for a moment, it was hard to get what just happened. He sighed and stepped back, his face hinting about his pain and how badly my actions had affected him. I gawked in his eyes mutely to capture that moment in my mind, who knows if he goes back to ignoring me in the morning.
