Chapter 10 The Truth

• The cold afternoon breeze embraces me as I pace by the lake with mixed emotions. My heart and mind are filled with anxiety, anger, confusion and fear.
• One moment I felt annoyed and angry that my family kept this truth from me. Another moment I kind of feel the fear that clouds them knowing this truth and wanting to protect me at all cost with my mother's scared and worried eyes replaying non stop in my head.
• I fidget my fingers with my pace getting faster. There is just the amount of pacing I could do at home without attracting attention, and that's the least thing I need right now.
