Chapter 363 Not Frozen to Death, But Frozen Half to Death

  • Fabian and Zavier were dragged into a small grove and hauled out of the car. Then both of them were tied to tree trunks, ropes crisscrossing like a net. Lin Feng stepped up and treated their stomachs like punching bags—one hard shot each. Their mouths were sealed with tape, so even if the pain tore through them, no sound came out. Zavier’s eyes filled with tears. Fabian was older; cold sweat beaded across his forehead.
  • The grove wasn’t far from the fire site. They could hear fire trucks howling by. Lin Feng asked, “Ms. Ainsworth, what next?” Sienna’s voice was ice. “Strip their coats. It won’t kill them, but freeze them till they wish they were dead.” Lin Feng didn’t hold back; he yanked off their down jackets on the spot.
  • Dusk was closing in. Out here in the middle of nowhere, without down jackets, people would turn stupid from the cold. Fabian and Zavier stared in terror, but no matter how they struggled, those ropes weren’t going anywhere. Sienna said coldly, “Fabian, me—Sienna—and the Johanson residence, we’re not done.” Fabian’s eyes went wide. A young lady dared threaten him? Sienna didn’t linger. She turned and left with her people.
