• "What are you doing?" I tried to pull my hand from his grip but he held me tighter. He dragged me out from the ballroom to the other side of the hall. It was empty and no one was there beside us
• Marco pinned me to the wall and he looked at me with his sharp eyes. He looked at me intensely
• "Get off me before I call someo-"
• "I wonder why a beautiful girl like you got a gun?" He cut me and my eyes widen
• "A gun? Are you kidding me?" I laughed it off as I pushed him away but he pinned me back. He leaned his face closer to me and started caressing my cheek
• "Trying to prey Lincon Rector or should I say.. you already did?" My eyes widen when he said that and I knew I'm in big trouble for getting caught by the 7 Gold Lifes
• "Me preying Lincon Rector? He's my best friend's f-"
• "Don't talk bullshit" He pointed his finger right to my gun. I bet he caught me when I bumped to him and slipped
• "What are you planning to do with this gun?" He asked in a really serious and dangerous tone
• "Get off me! Mind your own business, Marco Hastington. Don't make me shoot you instead" I bursted angrily and punched him. He didn't expect but I also didn't expect that he will caught me again
• "Not so fast beautiful" He pinned me back to the wall and held my hands up on my head this time
• "You asshole" I tried to kick him and tried to just get away but I can't
• "I wonder what kind of poison or chemical that you put in Lincon's drink?" He asked and I tried to put no emotions to my face so he wouldn't be able to detect anything
• "Why would I put-"
• "Do you know that when the 3 reporters come.. one of them switches his champagne?" My eyes widened this time.. No!
• "Shocked? So why don't you tell me why a girl like you has a gun in your body and a poison liquid in your clutch. Why targeting the Lincon Rector? Who sent you?" He asked a lot of questions and at the same time.. I kicked his jewel and kicked him away from me. I tried to find a way out but my body froze when I saw the 7 Gold Lifes already stand by at the exit door
• I turned my body to find another way to get out of this situation. I took out my gun and pointed at Marco who was running after me. He put his hands up and walked to me slowly. I saw an emergency door around 50m behind him.
• I quickly ran the other way and ran at full speed to go to the emergency door. As soon as I got there.. I ran down fast but suddenly Marco caught me again. This time he held me harder and stronger. His friends came in time and I'm so dead right now
• My parents will be killed and I'm next
• "You're a one fast girl" Marco commented and I glared to every one of them
• "Instead of taking me to the police whatsoever.. kill me instead" I gave them gun to Marco pushing it to his chest
• "Well this is interesting" He smirked and he loaded the gun
• "Take her to your place" I turned to Matthew Lemiere
• "Just kill her instead" Marco said looking straight to my eyes
• "Yeah kill me" I looked at him intensely, challenging him
• "We need to find out who she works with" Joel Cesborn said and I turned to him
• "You won't get any names from my mouth so just shoot me instead!" I said coldly and turning my head back to Marco
• "What's your name?" He asked
• "Madeline" I answered
• "Nope you're not" Marco smiled and I took his gun from him. I pointed it on my head, Marco stepped back and crossed his arm
• "Idiot" I smirked and shot the bullet towards Marco's shoulder and ran away downstairs. The others started to chase me but I got out from the nearest emergency door. I ran my ass out outside but I was caught again.
• "I can't believe you shot my brother" Lauren Hastington was the one who caught me. I glared at her and sighed
• "Take her to your office" Dylan ordered her and she dragged me away. My eyes landed on Marco who held the bleeding from his shoulder. He looked at me with his killing eyes
• I was dragged into a car and forced to get inside. I'm going to be dead later on with Patt. I turned to see Marco got inside the car with me. I looked at him disbelief
• "Who exactly are you?" He said with a really dangerous person
• "You don't want to mess with me" I answered
• "I'm the one who should say that not you"
• "Yeah right"
• "So Cassandra Lancio, care to tell who sent you?" My eyes widened when he said my real name. I turned him in horror
• "Why? Surprised that I know your real name, Cassandra?" He smirked widely and I looked out to the window
• "Well that was fast, so what do you have in mind? Killing me? Send me to the police?"
• "If you won't cooperate with me then yes.. Police Station will be your next place"
• "Well thanks" I said sarcastically
• "Why do you want to kill Lincon?" He asked and the car started to move
• "Why do you care anyway? Taking care of your own empire is enough? Why bo-"
• "Why?" He bursted and I flinched hearing him bursting him out like that
• "Because I want to.." I turned to him glaring at him
• "Who sent you? Just give me the name and I'll consider to let you go" I raised my eyebrows laughing
• "What are you? A black knight? I doubt that you will do that"
• "You'll never know Cassandra.." He looked at me intensely and I looked at his bleeding in horror. How can he hold that?
• Why do I care? If he dies, everything will be better
