Chapter 4

• Cassandra Lancio
• I have tried everything but still I can't get out from this freaking room. I looked at the clock and it's 4 a.m. I walked to the bed and laid down. I looked at all the CCTV in this room and hissed.
• I decided to close my eyes and went to sleep for a moment. My eyes widened when I heard someone got in. I got up and saw Marco walking inside. He got something in his hands and he gestured to me to go to the table.
• He threw the files on the table and pushed it towards me. I looked down to see a contract and files that Patt made. I raised my eyebrows reading it one by one. My eyes widened as I read all of it.
• "No matter how much you work for him, at the end of the day, He's the one who destroyed your parent's business. He made you as his puppet so he can reach out others without being caught that he's the one behind it" Marco said
• "He wanted Lincon's stock because it was his at first but he sold it. Lincon successfully grew it and made a tons of money from it"
• "He'll kill my parents soon since I got caught" I said to him but my eyes still stuck on the files
• "He won't, your parents got a contract with Western Company and your parents apparently Western owe your parents some money. That contract connected to Lincon and a Russian company name Resos. If you successfully kill Lincon, your parents will have the access to Western and Resos right away but since Lincon still alive. Patt can't access that" Marco said and I looked up to him
• "So why are you telling me this and keeping me here?" I asked and suddenly the door opened revealing Lincon. He looked at me with really hateful eyes. He walked inside and stood beside Marco
• "Venisse died?" Lincon asked
• "In Patt's hands" I answered and he sighed
• "We keep you here because we want you to reverse the situation here" Marco started
• "You know I worked for Patt for 2 years and do you think I will go to your side in this second? I thought you're smart enough"
• "We're smarter than you think Cassandra" Lincon turned on the TV. My eyes widened when I saw the news about Lincon's death. I turned to him and Marco completely confuse
• "Patt thinks that Lincon died but you got caught after that. You know what's next right?" Marco smirked
• "He will use your parents to get the contract and then kill them so he can take over the contract" Lincon continued
• "But you're still alive. Aren't you afraid that Patt will take what you have?" I asked Lincon coldly
• "This is the only access that we have to get Patt open his stock access" Marco said
• "For what? You want to steal something from Patt?"
• "Gosh this girl is clueless" Marco said annoy
• "Patt and Western corrupted a lot of money from the government. Patt isn't a mafia only but he's a big time thief. Patt is now on his way with your parents to Resos in Russia. He will ask Resos for the contract and then go to Western in London to finish it. When he got to London, he won't get the money since Lincon is still alive but in the process he needed to open that stock access so he will get the money through the stock. He thinks he will get it but he won't. In the process.. if he got your parents finger print and sign, he will kill them and get the money straight into his account" Marco explained
• "Apparently if that money go to Patt's stock, he can access our stocks because he will take over Resos after he got the money and the code"
• "But Lincon's still alive"
• "That's the tricky trick, the Western might give it to him or not. We have to fake his death so he can open his stock access. This is a mutual thing Cassandra, you come to our side to save your parents and a little bit of money that you have in there or you walked away go back to Patt and get killed in the end" Marco asked
• "We don't have much time because he's going to confirm my body and go to Rusia right away after taking the contract in CC with your parents" Lincon said and I looked at them both
• "I can betray you"
• "Betray us then, we'll leave you alone without any trace and let your parents die" Marco smirked and I sighed
• Lincon took out his phone and showed me Patt's men in my parent's house taking my parents away. I looked up to them and sighed again
• "What do you want me to do?" I asked and Marco smirked
• "Go back to your clan and take all the electronics in that base" Marco said and I looked at him disbelief
• "Me? alone? Are you insane? He got a lot of guys there and they will know that I got caught"
• "Just tell us the place and we'll help you hack the CCTV"
• "Only that? There's 20 guys inside of that base shit" I bursted
• "I'm not finish Cassie"
• "Cassandra for you Marco"
• "We got a team to come with you, all you need to do is lead them in and they'll do the work for you. Your job is just to open the door's code for them"
• "You're going to take all the electronics for what? For sale?"
• "Let's see about it tomorrow"
• "Unbelievable"
• "If you dare to tell that I'm still alive.. you'll dead" Lincon added and I turned to him
• "You'll never know" I smirked
• "She won't.. We got something precious to keep her" Marco said and I turned to him
• "What?"
• "You got your parents in hostage with Patt and then.. Carine" My eyes widen
• "You're lucky that you hide Carine in a safe place so Patt won't use her as his puppet. You hid her in Texas and changed her name and let someone adopt her to keep her safe"
• "You fucker" I hissed coldly to Marco
• "You won't get away until all of this done Cassandra, you came to kill him and this is the path that you need to take to finish what you have started"
• "I'm just a puppet, you need to kill who pulled up my strings" I stated the obvious
• "Just do the task beautiful, you'll know what to do next soon" He said as he patted Lincon's shoulder gesturing him to go out
• "Fuck you Marco Hastington"
• "Glad to hear that" He smirked before going out the room
