• The elevator doors beeped as they opened and the voice in the speaker announced our floor. I led Jayden down the corridor and stood outside his door. I fumbled for the key in his pocket and placed it on the reader. The door whirred open and I led him to the bed.
• Now the thing about the room that Mark had acquired for me was that it was an interconnecting room with Jayden’s. I placed Jayden in bed, removed his brown pair of Oxfords and then covered him up.
