Chapter 58

• It's been a week since Jessica has been staying in Edwin's house, and she decided to leave for her apartment on Sunday afternoon so she can prepare to resume work the following day.
• Edwin was reluctant to let her go, he even suggested she bring her things so they can start living together, but Jessica rejected his proposal because she knew her family will not be happy if they learn she has been living with him for a week now, not despite her mum warning when she read about Edwin online.
• Jessica carried her bag as she came down the stairs, looking for Edwin. She dropped the bag on the couch and looked around the house, only for her to see him in the kitchen, cooking and she walked towards him.
