• "Thanks, Tom." I said to him the moment he hung up the call.
• I had taken him to go see Zara who was still unconscious and I could have sworn that I had never felt more ashamed. Perhaps, I was just noticing it now that I had become a terrible person but then, seeing what extent I had taken things made me disappointed with myself. How on earth could I think to harm Zara? I could not believe I had been blinded by my desires and gone totally extreme.
